UPDATE – This post has been updated after testing latest unlocker (version 1.1.0) with VMware workstation 9 on Įarlier Mac OS X versions like Snow leopard 10.6 and leopard 10.5 can run on VMware desktop virtualization products without this patch. Here is the download links of working unlocker for VMware Workstation 9, 8 and 7 series versions (tested by me) on Windows 7 32 bit host. This unlocker utility replaces few VMware program files to be able to install and run latest 10.8 and 10.7 Lion OS X guests. darwinPre15.iso is located in the 'payload' folder If you are a Hackintosh user on desktop virtualization software VMware, then the “VMware unlocker” is a compulsory utility to run Mac OS X lion guests.

Therefore, the file is completely compressed with Winrar and 7Zip. The image file of macOS X Yosemite is created only to install in VMware and VirtualBox.

I have Workstation 10.0.7 on Windows 8.1 Enterprise - 64-Bit I guess this is the crucial part but don't understand the message (abottom I have bit more of the logfile). In the log file I read along the long log this error: On the boot it goes a while on progession bar, but after maybe the half of progression bar it just shuts down. I just updated my Yosemite (OS 10.2) virtual machine on my workstation 10 to Yosemite OS 10.5 and now it doesn't start anymore.
